Truth is, we have a slight obsession with 14k gold fill :) This is the highest quality gold next to solid gold. It has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated pieces. It is because of this thick layer of gold, which is actually fused to its base, that gold filled pieces are long lasting and waterproof. Gold filled pieces can be worn in the shower/ hot tub/ pool/ ocean and will actually stay gold; no tarnishing or turning green! This material is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and great for people with sensitive skin.
